Old Town Scottsdale is now home to a modern, European‑inspired hotel, AC Hotel Scottsdale Old Town, located at 7117 E. 3rd Ave.
The six‑story hotel was developed, co‑owned, and is managed by PEG Companies and includes 168 guest rooms and about 50 hospitality jobs, according to a press release.
“Old Town Scottsdale continues to evolve as a premier travel destination,” Joe Madera, vice president of hospitality at PEG Companies, said. “Our vision for this property was to introduce a hospitality experience that feels intentional, refined, and deeply connected to its surroundings. We’re proud to invest in a property that brings long‑term value to the heart of this community.”
The first floor features a lobby with the AC Lounge, which serves small plates, local craft beers, and cocktails. The space incorporates a European‑influenced design with elements inspired by the surrounding desert and the nearby Scottsdale Arts District.
The floor also includes the AC Kitchen, which offers a continental breakfast, and several meeting and event rooms equipped with updated audiovisual technology.
The top floor includes a 950‑square‑foot fitness center with floor‑to‑ceiling windows overlooking the Valley and a rooftop pool with views of Camelback Mountain and the Old Town skyline.
Guest rooms follow the brand’s European‑influenced design approach, with simple furnishings, hardwood floors, built‑in USB ports, and complimentary Wi‑Fi. The hotel offers valet‑only parking in a three‑level underground garage and allows small dogs up to 50 pounds.
The property is also home to Cielito, a rooftop bar and restaurant developed with The Wayfaring Group. The space has about 70 seats and features dishes and cocktails influenced by coastal and desert regions of Northwest Mexico.
TWG’s chef, Mr. Shon Foster, developed the menu, which emphasizes citrus, charred flavors, and regional ingredients.
“With Cielito, we wanted to create something that feels vibrant yet grounded; a rooftop experience inspired by the coastal and desert regions of Northwest Mexico, but interpreted in a way that feels natural to Scottsdale,” Chef Foster said. “The menu is built around bright citrus, smoke, and shareable dishes that invite people to slow down, connect, and stay awhile, especially at sunset.”
The hotel is within walking distance of Scottsdale Stadium, galleries, restaurants, nightlife, and retail areas in Old Town.
