Delivering Dreams of Arizona hosted its 55th annual Celebration of Caring Gala, “Return to Emerald City,” on April 10, 2026, drawing more than 300 attendees and raising $605,975.
The event recognized community partners and highlighted support for the organization’s programs serving local youth, according to a press release. Nick Ciletti of ABC 15 served as emcee.
The Arizona Diamondbacks and the National Charity League, Moon Valley Chapter were named Excellence in Philanthropy honorees. The award recognizes organizations for their support of Delivering Dreams of Arizona’s mission.
“We are beyond blessed by the extraordinary dedication of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the National Charity League in supporting our mission and uplifting youth in our community,” said Aimee Runyon, chief executive officer of Delivering Dreams of Arizona. “Their continued support represents a shared belief that every child deserves compassion, respect, and to feel supported so they can make the most of their education. We appreciate everyone who attended the event and contributed to our effort to help children in our community!”
The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation, established in 1997, supports programs focused on homelessness, health care and youth initiatives. The organization also supported Delivering Dreams of Arizona through sponsorship of the first Delivering Dreams Bus.
The National Charity League, Moon Valley Chapter, founded in 1997, engages mothers and daughters from schools across the Phoenix area in community service, leadership development and cultural activities.
Delivering Dreams of Arizona partners with more than 155 K-8 schools through its Delivering Dreams Bus Program, which provides clothing, shoes and hygiene items to students in need. Each distribution includes items valued at approximately $300, with volunteers assisting students to ensure proper fit and selection.
