Folds of Honor Arizona has appointed Meghan Fable as executive director and senior director of impact.
In her new role, Ms. Fable will lead strategic growth initiatives, fundraising, community partnerships and statewide outreach in support of the organization’s mission to provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.
“Joining Folds of Honor Arizona is an incredible honor,” Ms. Fable said. “The organization’s mission deeply resonates with me, and I look forward to working alongside our supporters, partners, and volunteers to expand opportunities for the families who have sacrificed so much for our country and communities.”
Folds of Honor Arizona was established in 2015 and has raised nearly $6 million to support families across the state, along with broader national scholarship efforts.
“Meghan’s passion, leadership experience, and commitment to service make her an exceptional fit for this role,” Keith Gapusan, board president of Folds of Honor Arizona, said. “We are excited to welcome her to the Folds of Honor Arizona family and confident she will help elevate our mission and reach.”
Ms. Fable previously served as vice president of community relations and development at Ability360, where she worked for 13 years overseeing fundraising, planned giving, major gifts, corporate partnerships and events. She also has experience in public relations, event planning and community relations.
Her volunteer experience includes service with PANDA (People Acting Now Discover Answers), Desert Foundation Auxiliary, notMYkid, Arizona Humane Society and Junior League of Phoenix. She is also a member of the Copper Club/Project Copper Foundation.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Arizona.
Folds of Honor has awarded nearly $340 million in educational scholarships nationwide since its founding in 2007, supporting private school tuition, tutoring, college and postgraduate education, as well as trade and technical programs.
