A new multifamily housing development has opened in Avondale, adding 286 apartment units to the city’s growing residential landscape.
Ascent Companies and Merit Partners have opened The Stately Avondale, a 286-unit apartment community at 12375 W. Van Buren St., offering immediate move-in opportunities, according to a press release.
The community includes one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments designed with a range of modern features and shared amenities. Developers said the project was planned to meet demand for additional housing options in the West Valley.
The Stately Avondale includes amenities such as a pool and spa area, pickleball courts, a fitness center, co-working spaces and outdoor gathering areas. The property also features two dog parks, a small on-site convenience market, private garages with electric vehicle charging capabilities and mobile app-based access systems.
Inside the residences, apartments feature stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, tile backsplashes, full-size washers and dryers, smart thermostats and luxury vinyl plank flooring. Floor plans also include private patios or balconies, pantries and linen closets. Developers said additional sound-dampening measures were incorporated into the buildings.

The development represents a joint project by Ascent Companies and Merit Partners as residential construction continues across Avondale and the surrounding West Valley.
