David Vollrath II to grow, create more efficient Glendale aerospace company

Unical Aviation is announcing the appointment of former Safran PowerUSA President & CEO David Vollrath II as the new chief operations officer.
Reporting directly to Unical CEO Sharon Green, Mr. Vollrath will develop and execute the Unical Operational growth strategy including oversight of all operational site activities, according to a press release.
“This appointment further strengthens Unical’s executive leadership team and solidifies our commitment to bolstering Unical’s position as a leader in the global aerospace aftermarket,” said Sharon Green, CEO at Unical Aviation.
“David is a proven leader and a change agent. He is both tremendously talented and also driven. His vastly deep industry expertise and prior Operational and Strategic experience will help drive continuous operational improvements in order to better serve our customers. We are excited to welcome him to the team.”
Most recently, Mr. Vollrath served as the president and CEO for Safran Power USA, LLC, where he was responsible for three operational sites and 800 team members, which included OE and MRO operations
