The Greater Phoenix Chamber is accepting nominations for its 2026 ATHENA Awards, which recognize women in business across the region.

Nominations are open through 5 p.m. Friday, June 26, and can be submitted online, according to a press release.

The ATHENA Award honors women who demonstrate professional leadership, community service and mentorship of future leaders. The program recognizes nominees in three categories: private sector, public sector and young professionals under age 40.

“The Greater Phoenix Chamber has consistently championed the extraordinary leadership of women and their lasting influence on our region,” Greater Phoenix Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer Todd Sanders said. “Celebrating the achievements of these remarkable individuals through the ATHENA Awards is an honor, and we look forward to learning more about this year’s outstanding nominees.”

The awards program has been presented in the Valley for 38 years and has recognized 74 recipients during that time.

Award recipients will be announced at the Greater Phoenix Chamber’s 39th annual ATHENA Awards on Oct. 29, 2026, at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge.
