Business and charity leaders of Scottsdale were joined by Mayor Lisa Borowsky and Councilwoman Maryann McAllen to present $40,000 in charitable donations to Riot Gives Back and to Make‑A‑Wish Arizona during a check presentation ceremony at the W Scottsdale Hotel.

The donations were generated through the fourth annual Rock the Rooftop fundraiser, an event associated with Riot Hospitality Group and supported by local business leaders. Proceeds from the fundraiser were designated for the two nonprofit organizations that serve children and families across Arizona, according to a press release.

The fundraiser was hosted by Jason Adler, chief development officer of Riot Hospitality Group, along with Brandon Bell of Next Level Steel, John Creighton of Southwest Residential Interiors and Dillan Micus of 345 Wealth Management. The event was held Sunday, Nov. 21, 2025, and brought together community members and nonprofit supporters.

Rock the Rooftop features live music and community fundraising with a focus on supporting charitable organizations that work directly with families and children.

“This event reflects what is possible when business leaders step up with purpose,” Mr. Adler said. “RTR has grown each year because the community believes in these causes, and today’s donation represents real, tangible support for families who need it most.”

Mayor Borowsky highlighted the role of community involvement in the fundraiser’s success.

“RTR is a powerful example of Scottsdale’s generosity in action,” Mayor Borowsky said. “These funds strengthen organizations that serve children and families, and that investment carries forward into the future of our city.”

Councilwoman McAllen focused on the cumulative effect of the annual event.

“This fundraiser brings together leadership, philanthropy, and community in a meaningful way,” Councilwoman McAllen said. “The consistency and growth of RTR show how sustained commitment delivers lasting results.”
