GenTech is announcing that founder and CEO Debbie Kovesdy has been named a 2024 Women Achiever of Arizona by the Arizona Capitol Times, a print newspaper, and State Affairs, a digital organization.
The award recognizes Ms. Kovesdy’s significant contributions to STEM education and commitment to empowering Arizona’s youth.
Ms. Kovesdy, who serves on the Phoenix Youth and Education Commission after an appointment by Mayor Kate Gallego, was honored in the education category for her tireless efforts to advance STEM education accessibility across Arizona.
Her work includes supporting the launch of the GenTech Foundation, a 501C(3) nonprofit supported by private and corporate funding, with a mission of providing schools with funds and partnerships to help bridge the economic gap to implement STEM programs.

The 2024 Women Achievers of Arizona Awards celebrate women who have persevered through challenges and excelled in their fields, making significant contributions to Arizona’s communities and future prosperity.
