Wine Collective offers deals all summer long

Scottsdale is home to oenophiles curious to explore the state’s unique terroir, and The Wine Collective of Scottsdale — which opened in April — is the only downtown tasting room and retail shop to offer such a wide varietal of premium Arizona producers.
Representatives of The Wine Collective, 4020 N. Scottsdale Road, say the location is offering deals all summer long.
Owner Zoya Vora-Shah is a wine industry veteran who selects each of the roughly 40 bottles on the shelves and prides herself on offering an experience that’s educational as well as relaxing and fun.
She says her goal is to expose wine aficionados an array the best Arizona has to offer while keeping prices reasonable: Wines by the glass start at just $8, and most bottles retail in the $30s.
“There are so many excellent Arizona wines,” Ms. Vora-Shah said in a release. “But not everyone is familiar with them or knows which ones to try. I wanted a tasting room that was virtually 100 percent Arizona wines. That’s why I opened The Wine Collective.”
The only selections not from Arizona are the acclaimed sparkling wines from Gruet in New Mexico, a release states.
The Wine Collective’s summer specials are available to anyone who shows current Arizona identification. They include:
- June: Sip four two-ounce pours of wines on a theme with a flight for just $15 (normally $18-22).
- July: Indulge in a gourmet food pairing with 20% off any nosh boards, which feature the highest quality artisan meats and cheeses and local sweets from Caroline’s Chocolates.
- August: Purchase a bottle to imbibe on-site for the normal retail price with no corkage fee.
