Camelot Homes is continuing to expand its presence in north Scottsdale, with the recent purchase of 77.5 acres, just east of Lone Mountain Parkway and East Joy Ranch roads.
The family-owned luxury homebuilder plans to break ground on the new 52-home community called Joy Ranch in the second fiscal quarter of calendar year 2023, according to a press release.
“The location for this community is incredible,” Camelot Homes Managing Director Julie Hancock said in a prepared statement. “Joy Ranch provides the opportunity to embrace the true Arizona lifestyle. From the incredible views of Four Peaks to the easy access to Tonto National Forest hiking trails, we’re excited to provide countless opportunities for homeowners to explore the outdoors in this new Camelot community.”
Camelot floor plans are expected to range from 4,500- to 6,500-square-feet, 4-6 bedrooms, and 4.5- to 6.5-baths, the release states.
Representatives of Camelot Homes say the luxury homebuilder is moving forward due to the success of recent communities including the White Horse and Bronco development projects a part of the north Scottsdale community.
Joy Ranch is within a drive of golf, hiking and mountain biking, with the southern and eastern boundaries of the community fronting to the Tonto National Forest for easy access to nearby trails.
