Scottsdale Art Week returns to WestWorld with works by major artists

Staff Reports | Happenings & Events

Works by several influential artists will be on display when Scottsdale Art Week, presented by Scottsdale Ferrari, returns to WestWorld from Thursday, March 19 to Sunday, March 22, 2026.

The fair will feature blue‑chip pieces as well as Indigenous, Western and Latinx art, along with paintings, sculptures and mixed‑media installations, according to a press release. Organizers say the event offers access to works not typically available together in one setting.

Collectors will encounter pieces by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall, David Hockney, Alex Katz and Maynard Dixon, among others. More than 120 galleries from across the United States and internationally are scheduled to present works in WestWorld’s North Hall during the four‑day event.

Miami‑based Robert Fontaine Gallery will occupy Booth C6 and present original works by Robert Rauschenberg, Picasso, Katz and Cy Twombly.

Benrimon Editions of New York (Booth D5) will exhibit works by Damien Hirst, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama and Julian Opie. Poland’s Epicentrum Art Gallery will show pieces by Chagall, Picasso and Dali.

London‑based Blond Contemporary plans to bring original works and prints by Hockney, a shaped canvas by Sam Francis and a selection of Jonas Wood prints. The gallery will also present an Ed Ruscha piece featuring racing drivers, prints from the 1960s, new work by emerging artist Sophia Bounou and landscape works by James Vaulkhard.

Another addition to Scottsdale Art Week is “Triumph,” a sculpture by Gino Miles. The piece, listed at $1 million, was started six years ago during the COVID‑19 pandemic. Miles created the work with support from his studio team. A portion of the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Also featured is “Maximus,” a fossil crocodile estimated to be 50 million years old. Logan, Utah‑based Green River Fossil Company will offer the piece for $1.2 million. The specimen, measuring more than eight feet, is presented in a custom framed mural.

Scottsdale Art Week will include cultural programming in collaboration with Phoenix Art Museum, Arizona State University Art Museum, Heard Museum, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Center for Creative Photography, Denver Art Museum and Heritage Auctions. Topics will include collecting strategies, global market trends, art care and preservation, and the relationship between art and design.

The fair opens with an Opening Night Vernissage sponsored by Gila River Resorts & Casinos from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 19 at WestWorld. The event benefits Phoenix Art Museum and includes early acquisition opportunities, award presentations, live music by Lunar Calendar and a wearable‑art show by Galina Mihaleva of FIDM at Arizona State University.

“Today’s collectors want access to high‑value works and knowledgeable perspectives, and Scottsdale Art Week delivers plenty of both,” said Amy Gause, director of Scottsdale Art Week. “This is an event that brings respected galleries, notable artists and trusted industry voices together in one place, giving enthusiasts ample opportunity to build and expand their collections.”

Scottsdale’s tourism season in March, combined with lodging options and annual events such as Major League Baseball spring training, continues to draw visitors. The city has also seen rapid growth in its number of high‑net‑worth residents, giving galleries increased exposure to potential buyers.
