Huse Culinary, an Indianapolis-based restaurant and retail food group, will open Harry & Izzy’s in Paradise Valley on Wednesday, Aug. 26, marking the brand’s first location outside Indiana.

A part of the redeveloped PV, formerly Paradise Valley Mall, the restaurant will bring the company’s modern American grill concept to the Valley, according to a press release.

The 8,300-square-foot restaurant features a 2,400-square-foot patio, outdoor bar and seating for 340 guests. The menu includes steaks, St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail, seafood, shareable appetizers and cocktails. The space is designed to accommodate both everyday dining and special occasions.

“Opening Harry & Izzy’s in the Valley marks an exciting new chapter for our team and our family of restaurants,” CEO Craig Huse said. “We’ve built our brands around exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and creating memorable experiences, and we’re honored to bring that tradition to Paradise Valley.”

The Harry & Izzy’s name honors Harry Roth and Izzy Rosen, longtime owners and operators of St. Elmo Steak House. From 1947 to 1986, the pair operated the Indianapolis restaurant before the Huse family assumed ownership. Huse Culinary has since expanded to eight restaurants across four brands, including 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo and The HC Tavern + Kitchen.

For nearly 20 years, Harry & Izzy’s has operated exclusively in Indianapolis. Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning is part of the restaurant’s ownership group and has also joined the Paradise Valley location as a partner. The Arizona restaurant marks the brand’s first expansion beyond Indiana.

Harry & Izzy’s is found at 12770 N. Tatum Blvd. in Phoenix and will be open daily for lunch and dinner. Brunch will be served Saturdays and Sundays.
