Cancer Support Community Arizona is excited to announce its upcoming Pickleball Tournament and Brunch.

The event will take place on July 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chicken N Pickle in Glendale, with proceeds benefiting Cancer Support Community Arizona’s free support programs for Arizonans impacted by cancer, according to a press release.

“We know that behind every cancer diagnosis is a ripple effect felt by families, friends, and caregivers,” said Julie Dunnigan, CEO of Cancer Support Community Arizona. “Events like this tournament bring people together in the spirit of community while supporting those who are navigating one of life’s toughest challenges.”

Open to beginner and seasoned players alike, the tournament will feature bracket-style play for teams of two, along with a catered all-you-can-eat brunch, raffle prizes, and more. Team registration is $150 and includes a guaranteed three games of tournament play, brunch for both players, and one raffle ticket per player. Spectators are also encouraged to attend and cheer on the participants, with ticket options ranging from $25 to $50, including full access to the tournament experience and one raffle ticket.

One of the standout raffle prizes includes a luxurious two-night staycation at a Scottsdale vacation rental property donated by Coast to Cactus.

This resort-style home features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, a fully stocked kitchen, and a stunning backyard complete with a heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, private pickleball court and putting green. Perfect for families or groups, the home sleeps up to 13 guests and is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable, memorable getaway.

More than 42,000 Arizonans will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Cancer Support Community Arizona exists to ensure that no one faces cancer alone by offering in-person and virtual support services, always free of charge, to anyone impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
