Locally owned PRESS Coffee will open its City North location inside Sprouts Farmers Market’s new corporate headquarters at 20700 N. 56th St. in north Phoenix in August.
The new café expands PRESS Coffee’s partnership with Sprouts Farmers Market, which includes seven PRESS locations inside Sprouts stores across the Valley, according to a press release. The City North location will be PRESS Coffee’s 20th location.
“Sprouts has been a valued partner over the past several years, and we’re excited to bring our high-quality coffee to its new headquarters,” said Steve Kraus, co-owner and founder of PRESS Coffee. “This next chapter reflects our shared commitment to quality ingredients, great service and creating a welcoming experience for the community.”
The 700-square-foot café, with seating for 18 guests, will be located near the entrance of the headquarters, across from a new Sprouts store at 20650 N. 56th St., scheduled to open July 24.
The café will offer a beverage menu that includes drip coffee, specialty cold brew, shakers, hot and iced tea and nitro cold brew. Food options will include breakfast sandwiches, burritos, empanadas, pastries, sandwiches and grab-and-go items.
Sprouts Farmers Market and PRESS Coffee have expanded their partnership by offering select PRESS Coffee products at more than 480 Sprouts locations nationwide, including blends such as Twitch Espresso, Four Corners and Evergreen Organic.
“Including PRESS in our new headquarters expansion was a natural fit,” said Dave McGlinchey, chief development officer of Sprouts. “PRESS has been a strong, proven partner, and its high-quality coffees support health and wellness, aligning with our mission to offer better-for-you products to our customers and now to our team at our new office.”
PRESS Coffee sources coffee globally, including from its own farm in Volcan Valley in western Panama. Beans are roasted at the company’s Phoenix roastery.
