Delta Dental of Arizona has introduced DeltaWellness by Delta Dental®, a new brand that brings together the organization’s health and wellness offerings under a single umbrella. The company also announced the launch of DeltaLife®, a portfolio of life, disability and supplemental health insurance products.

The new offerings are aimed at helping employers and brokers access multiple benefits through a single carrier relationship while simplifying benefits administration, according to a press release.

DeltaWellness by Delta Dental will serve as the umbrella brand for the organization’s DeltaVision® and DeltaLife product lines, as well as bundled benefits packages that combine dental, vision, life, disability and supplemental health insurance products. The approach is designed to provide employers and brokers with streamlined billing, integrated administration and a single point of contact for service and support.

“For more than 50 years, Delta Dental of Arizona has earned the trust of employers, brokers and members by delivering quality dental benefits backed by exceptional service,” Michael Jones, president and chief executive officer of Delta Dental of Arizona, said. “The introduction of DeltaWellness by Delta Dental builds on that trusted foundation while reflecting how today’s buyers want to purchase and manage benefits. They want simplicity, flexibility and partners who can support a range of health and wellness solutions. This positions us to meet those evolving needs while continuing to invest in the oral health advancements that anchor our mission of providing a path to better health and wellness.”

The newly launched DeltaLife portfolio expands Delta Dental of Arizona’s offerings beyond dental coverage by providing employer groups access to life, disability and supplemental health insurance products.

“DeltaLife helps employers strengthen their benefits package with coverage that provides financial protection and income stability for employees and their families during tough times,” Mr. Jones said. “These benefits can help businesses attract and retain talent by giving employees greater confidence in their financial security. Businesses are assured top-notched quality and reliability because these services are offered by a partner that brokers, business owners and HR professionals already know and trust.”

Available to Arizona businesses with two to 99 employees, DeltaLife initially includes life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. The portfolio also offers value-added services including an Employee Assistance Program, bereavement counseling, identity theft support and travel assistance.

Supplemental health products, including critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance, are expected to be introduced later this year. Delta Dental of Arizona plans to expand DeltaLife availability to businesses with more than 100 employees in 2027.

The announcement continues a period of growth for Delta Dental of Arizona. Earlier this year, the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation awarded more than $838,000 in grants to 37 Arizona nonprofit organizations, including a two-year, $100,000 Innovation Grant focused on community health initiatives. The organization also partnered with Arizona State University to launch the Student-centered Medical Instruction and Learning in Oral Health powered by Artificial Intelligence, or SMILE-AI, program at ASU’s John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering, according to a press release.

“As we continue to grow, our purpose remains the same, helping Arizonans live healthier lives,” Mr. Jones said. “We will continue investing in critical initiatives, expanding access to care, supporting our nonprofit partners and developing innovative solutions that improve health and wellness for communities across Arizona.”
