Ms. Hulse: They know how to make amazing Mexican food

The Arizona Digital Free Press presents another in our new weekly restaurant features, coined “Adventures in Dining,” by Sabrina Hulse.
This week is Backyard Taco, with three locations in Mesa as well as Gilbert, Chandler and Queen Creek.
Ms. Hulse says, “I love trying new food places and I have challenged myself to try every food place in the Mesa boundary and share my finds with all of you.”

Backyard Taco
Type: Mexican
Three Mesa Locations: Southeast side of the 60 and Stapley; northeast side of Stapley and University; and northwest corner of Signal Butte and 60.
Space: The 60 and Stapley location is a big restaurant with lots of space. The other two sites are smaller locations.
Favorites: Tacos, Burritos, Crazy Potato.
Thoughts: We first started going to Backyard Taco when they were serving family and friends from their backyard. They know how to make amazing Mexican food!
