Maricopa Community Colleges has announced the selection of Beth Roszatycki as the new state director of the Arizona Small Business Development Center Network following a competitive search process conducted in accordance with Small Business Administration requirements.
The Arizona Small Business Development Center Network provides advising, training and resources to support entrepreneurs and small businesses across the state and operates in partnership with Maricopa Community Colleges, according to a press release.
“I am honored to join the Arizona SBDC Network and lead our efforts in supporting the state’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem,” Ms. Roszatycki said. “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and I look forward to working alongside our statewide partners to provide the tools, resources, and high‑quality advising necessary for our local businesses to thrive and scale.”
Ms. Roszatycki brings prior experience within the SBDC system, having most recently served as chief client services officer for the Michigan Small Business Development Center Network. She previously was regional director for the organization’s Lake Huron region.
Before joining the Michigan SBDC Network, Ms. Roszatycki served as chief executive officer of the Michigan Health Improvement Alliance Inc., where she led efforts focused on sustainable health system improvements across 14 counties in the mid‑Michigan region.
Her professional background includes budget oversight, financial stewardship, legislative advocacy and collaboration with regional and statewide partners. In her new role, Ms. Roszatycki will oversee statewide operations of the Arizona SBDC Network, supporting small business growth through no‑cost advising, training, resource navigation and financial education.
Ms. Roszatycki earned a Bachelor of Science in merchandising management and retailing from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Saginaw Valley State University.
“Ms. Roszatycki brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her new role,” said Vice Chancellor Valerie Jones. “I have no doubt she will leverage her experience to strengthen the mission of the Arizona SBDC Network—helping entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed across the state.”
