Active 20-30 Club event benefits Children in Need Foundation

Most evening fundraisers follow a predictable pattern: guests buy tickets to a supposedly swanky gala, only to arrive at a sterile conference room and spend the next two hours seated at a table listening to promoters cajole them for additional donations. As the program finally comes to a close, they make a polite escape, satisfied that they supported a worthy cause but simultaneously tired and underwhelmed.
Suitcase Party – hosted by the Active 20-30 Club of Phoenix – shatters this haggard mold, according to President-elect Brandon Shipman.
Built on the idea that a great cause and a great time should coincide, Suitcase Party delivers an extraordinary experience steeped in the celebratory spirit it champions, he says.
All proceeds benefit the Children In Need Foundation — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operated by the Active 20-30 Club of Phoenix and dedicated to serving underprivileged children throughout the Valley. CINF provides grants for education, financial support, and mentoring — all aimed toward propelling children plagued by poor circumstances into a brighter future, according to a press release.
Pivoting back to the Suitcase Party, festivities will take place on Friday Nov. 4, at the Scottsdale Airpark found inside the Ross Aviation hangar, nestled in an airfield at the foot of the McDowell Mountains, the release states.
This energetic evening of food, fun and libations culminates as random guests (and their friends) win impromptu, all-expense paid trips to destinations across the country, on private planes departing that evening. As Valley residents so often repeat, “everyone in town will be there.”
