Ability360, Arizona’s largest 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on providing services and resources to men, women and children with disabilities, has received a $65,000 Super Bowl Legacy Grant to purchase a new truck and trailer allowing the Abiilty360 Sports & Fitness Center to continue providing adaptive sports and outdoor activities to the community.

The grant was presented by The Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee and the NFL Foundation.

“This incredibly generous grant will benefit hundreds of individuals with disabilities in many communities for years to come,” said Ability360 CEO Chris Rodriguez, in a prepared statement. “Our team fully understands the value and importance for individuals with disabilities to be able to participate in sports and outdoor activities because of their positive impact on many levels. We are extremely grateful, particularly at this special time of year.

“Investing in our community is paramount to our mission of hosting a successful Super Bowl and leaving a positive lasting legacy long after the game is played,” said Jay Parry, president and CEO of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee. “The meaningful work being done by Ability360 and its team at the Ability360 Sport & Fitness Center is critical for our community.”
