Frolic takes overs The Handlebar space in Tempe

Frolic cocktail lounge and social club found at 680 S. Mill Ave. is now open in Tempe.
Formerly known as The Handlebar Tempe, Frolic centers around a unique twist on high quality cocktails and wonderfully designed small plates, according to a press release.
“Tempe’s Mill Avenue is an iconic destination, and we are excited to find a home here,” said owner David Cameron, in a prepared statement. “This is an incredible opportunity for us to showcase local talent and host electrifying entertainment events. Our bartenders and chefs are always working on taking your tastebuds on an adventure.”
Frolic celebrate its grand opening 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
“Frolic’s drinks and starters pair well with a good time,” said Theo Siket, the general manager of Frolic. “Our team and staff are dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience to entertain and unwind.”
The cocktail menu features tropical-inspired creations like the L.I.I.T., a mixture of vodka, rum, gin, tequila, blue curacao, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Other fun, elevated drink recipes include the Frolic Margarita, Mo Than A Jito, Sour Flower, and the We Should Do An Espresso Martini. The full menu can be found HERE.
Frolic offers half-priced well tequila, drafts, and bartender favorites during Frolic Hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Reverse Frolic Hour on weekends from midnight to close. Frolic is open from 4 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday. From 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
