An Arizona entrepreneur has turned a common daily inconvenience into a growing consumer product business with the launch of Snap-N-Go Seat Sheet, a car-seat cover designed for people with active lifestyles.
Founded by Michelle Watson, Snap-N-Go Seat Sheet was developed after Ms. Watson sought a cleaner and more efficient way to protect her car seats following workouts and routine errands during Arizona’s summer months, according to a press release.
After searching unsuccessfully for a product that met her needs, Ms. Watson created her own solution, which initially began as a personal project.
“I really had no intention of opening a business but after making my own solution, my husband used it and asked me why I wasn’t selling them,” Ms. Watson said. “It wasn’t something I had even considered prior, but it snowballed from there and here we are selling these on a daily basis via Amazon.”
The Snap-N-Go Seat Sheet™ features a lightweight, suede-like fabric designed to provide a removable layer of protection for vehicle seats. The product has gained traction among customers including fitness enthusiasts, outdoor recreation users and pet owners.
The design uses a two-snap installation system, with straps securing around each headrest post. When not in use, the seat sheet can be flipped back toward the center console to remain out of sight.
“Life is busy and often messy, but your car doesn’t have to be, when keeping it clean is a snap,” Ms. Watson said. “I created Snap-N-Go Seat Sheet™ to simplify one small but frustrating part of everyday life. It’s about making routines easier, keeping cars cleaner, so people can focus on doing what they love.”
The product is machine washable and intended for use after gym visits, outdoor activities and other situations where sweat, dirt or pet debris may impact vehicle interiors.
Snap-N-Go Seat Sheet™ is sold online through Amazon and has seen increased interest in warm-weather markets where car-based mobility and active lifestyles intersect.
Ms. Watson said she remains focused on product development and customer engagement as the business grows, building on a concept rooted in solving a personal, everyday problem.
