The MJ Companies is announcing the company has been named a ‘Best Place to Work’ in Indiana, Denver and Phoenix.

The 20th edition of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce initiative, a total of 150 companies made the cut. They will be ranked across five size categories at an April 30 dinner event; ranking was determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys.

The Workforce Research Group handled the selection process, according to a press release.

MJ was also included as a Best Places to Work honoree for the Denver Business Journal and the Phoenix Business Journal. Both publications utilize surveys distributed by Quantum Workplace, to collect honest, unfiltered feedback while respecting employee privacy, the release states.

“To be recognized as a Best Places to Work in not one but all three markets where our associates live and work is a testament to our leaders, our associates and our programs,” said Michael H. Bill, CEO of MJ. “At MJ, we are dedicated to fostering an atmosphere where our associates passions and ambitions can thrive. Our culture prioritizes fulfillment, and we actively encourage and support our associates in living well-rounded, purposeful lives.”

The businesses, nonprofits and other organizations that are selected as a Best Place to Work are chosen for the amenities they provide and the culture they create for their employees, including perks and incentives. Flexible work schedules, competitive compensation and career development opportunities are a few of MJ’s key offerings, but what sets MJ apart from other companies is its associate development programs.
