PREP Kitchens, a culinary coworking and shared commercial kitchen concept, is expanding its operations to Arizona.
Last month, the Atlanta-based company hosted a ribbon cutting and tours of the roughly 15,000-square-feet building found at Shea Boulevard and Scottsdale Road.
PREP Kitchens will welcome its first members for move in beginning the first of December, representatives of the brand tell the Digital Free Press.
“We are very excited to be a part of and help accelerate the growth of the amazing culinary community here in Scottsdale and Greater Phoenix area,” explains Drew Barrett, co-founder and head of business development for prep. “Our model is ideal for food entrepreneurs in need of flexible, permit-ready commercial kitchen infrastructure and access to first class equipment with reduced overhead in a community-driven environment.”
PREP’s state-of-the-art commercial kitchen facility offers a mix of turnkey private kitchens and stations available for rent by the hour and by the month. The Scottsdale location features 13 private commercial food production kitchens ranging from 250 to 750 square feet, plus a large, shared kitchen with 10 co-working stations available for cooking and baking.
