Heritage Auctions is showcasing an assortment of rare and high-value art and sports memorabilia at the inaugural Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week, which is set for March 20 through March 23 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
While high-end art is the fair’s main focus, Heritage will also bring to the table an exclusive selection of valuable sports memorabilia sure to appeal to the affluent clientele the fair attracts during the heart of Arizona’s spring training season.
Among the standout offerings making their way to Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week are an ultra-rare autographed Shohei Ohtani baseball card and two Formula 1 racing suits worn by Dutch-Belgian racing superstar Max Verstappen and British racing seven-time world champion Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
“Art and sports memorabilia collectors share a similar appreciation for rare, one-of-a-kind items, and Heritage Auctions holds some of the highest-value items in the world in both categories, making their participation in Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week a great fit,” said Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week Development Director Michael Plummer.
“From one-of-a-kind artwork to iconic collectibles from the sports world, collectors and enthusiasts can find great investment pieces and informed guidance from Heritage experts in one place at this event.”
Heritage’s expert Mike Provenzale, production manager of sports and memorabilia, will be giving a presentation on the ins and outs of collecting sports memorabilia at the fair 1 p.m. Friday, March 21 for both beginners and seasoned collectors.
“Sports memorabilia isn’t just about nostalgia — it’s history, passion, and opportunity. Every ticket stub, jersey, or card tells a story, and those stories have value,” he said. “Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just getting started, there’s never been a better time to explore the market. If you love sports, you already have the instinct to collect—now it’s just about knowing where to start.”
Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week is welcoming over 100 leading galleries showcasing everything from cutting-edge contemporary art to culturally significant historic and indigenous pieces. In addition to the main fair, attendees can also enjoy runway shows, cultural programming and off-site events from the curators and directors of the ASU Art Museum, the Center for Creative Photography, the Phoenix Art Museum and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.
