I am proud to endorse Mike Sharkey, Donna Lewis, and Matthew Pittinsky for the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board.
They bring the business, technology, and education leadership experience we need. They understand and represent the interests of parents, the business community, and taxpayers alike. They have no agenda other than to help our schools succeed.
During my 40 years in banking and my 12 years on Scottsdale City Council, I observed how the quality of our schools directly impacts our home values and our ability to retain and attract businesses that help to keep our tax rates low.
When our Scottsdale schools are strong and professionally led, our community thrives.
I am a lifelong conservative Republican and know from experience that many of the most critical issues faced by local government and school boards are non-partisan in nature.
We do not need detractors. We need elected leaders who know how to evaluate complex budgets, set a strategy for success and hold professional staff accountable which is precisely what “Vote Three, SLP” slate can do.
Mike Sharkey built a successful national business in the field of data analysis, is a parent of SUSD graduates, and volunteers with the Chaparral High School robotics club.
Donna Lewis was superintendent of the year in Arizona and is a national expert who is sought after in the field of teacher education.
Matthew Pittinsky is an SUSD parent and entrepreneur who built two global technology companies, one of which was headquartered in Scottsdale and hires SUSD graduates.
Regardless of party, we need elected community leaders – like Sharkey, Lewis and Pittinsky. They have what we need to keep our schools strong and to help our community thrive.
Please join me and support Sharkey, Lewis, and Pittinsky, the best three for SUSD.
