Rafi Law Group, Univision Arizona, and Los Altos Ranch Market came together on Friday, April 25th, to celebrate Día del Niño and the finale of a month-long food drive supporting St. Vincent de Paul. The child-focused event included bounce houses, art activities, face painting, games, giveaways and a $50,000 check presentation from Rafi Law Group to help support children and families in need.
“Día del Niño, or Children’s Day, is a national celebration of children all across Mexico and is now embraced by many communities here as well,” said Rafi’s Hope Chair Rich Yado. “We knew we wanted to do something that truly honored the kids we’re working so hard to help. This event was filled with joy, laughter, and connection. Seeing the kids having fun while knowing we were helping to make a difference made it a day we’ll never forget.”
Rafi’s Hope, the volunteer and philanthropy arm of Rafi Law Group, offers ongoing opportunities for team members to give back and express appreciation for the communities they serve.
“At Rafi Law Group, giving back is not just something we do; it is part of who we are,” added Mr. Yado. “We believe in supporting organizations like St. Vincent de Paul that lift up children and families when they need it most. Every donation, every act of service, is about creating hope right here in our community where it matters most.”
For over 75 years, St. Vincent de Paul has been dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and healing those in need in Arizona. Every day, the organization serves 7,000 hot meals in its four Valley dining rooms, four shelters, and through partner agencies. In 2024, St. Vincent de Paul delivered 189,325 food boxes to families in need through 80+ community food pantries located at Catholic churches across central and northern Arizona.
