Google Fiber celebrated the opening of its new Mesa office at 1130 N. Alma School Road, Suite 101, by holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, Oct. 23.
This opening represents GFiber’s continued commitment to connect with the local Arizona community and support its residents, according to officials. GFiber is building a fiber-to-the-home (and small business) network in Mesa.
According to the website, the company offers internet packages without data caps, annual contracts or hidden fees. The company’s mission is to deliver fast, reliable, fairly-priced and open internet service — using the best technologies, methods and people to accomplish that.

“Mesa was the first city in Arizona to approve a license agreement allowing us to build our fiber-to-the-home network to serve residents and businesses with high speed, high bandwidth internet,” said Will Novak, government & community affairs manager for GFiber. “We’re thrilled to be opening our new office in this wonderful community and look forward to further connecting with residents in Mesa, the East Valley and beyond.”
Participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and speaking at the event was Ashley Church, Western Region General Manager for GFiber; Sally Harrison, Mesa Chamber of Commerce president; Christos Chronis, Mesa Community College Chief Philanthropy Officer; and Mesa Mayor John Giles.
According to GFiber officials, this is the company’s first office in Arizona. The company announced expansion plans to Queen Creek in late 2023 with service to residents targeted for 2026.
GFiber also announced a $25,000 donation to the Mesa College Promise Program, which will go to support students working to attain a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) field of their choice from Mesa Community College.
