PRESS Coffee will open a new Camelview location inside an office building at 5090 N. 40th St. in Arcadia, expanding the Phoenix-based specialty coffee roaster’s footprint to 21 locations across the Valley.
The café will celebrate its grand opening with complimentary treats, giveaways and other activities Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12-13. The new location will serve both area residents and tenants of the office building.
The 1,545-square-foot café will include seating for 30 guests indoors, along with a shaded outdoor patio featuring additional seating. The location will offer PRESS Coffee’s full beverage menu, including drip coffee, cold brew, nitro cold brew, hot and iced teas, and specialty coffee drinks. Food options will include breakfast sandwiches, burritos, empanadas, pastries, sandwiches and grab-and-go items.
The new location represents PRESS Coffee’s 21st Valley café and continues the company’s expansion across the Phoenix metropolitan area, according to a press release.
“We are very excited to be located in such a beautiful building,” Jason Kyle, co-owner of PRESS Coffee, said. “It is not only a great spot for tenants to have a casual meeting or get a quick afternoon coffee but is the perfect neighborhood coffee shop for the residents in the area.”
PRESS Coffee is partnering with Southwest Value Partners, owner of the office building, on the project.
“We are excited to welcome PRESS to our 5090 office project,” Justin Merritt, managing director and partner at Southwest Value Partners, said. “This café will be a valuable amenity for our tenants and visitors, while creating a welcoming gathering place for the surrounding community to enjoy high-quality coffee and everyday connection.”
Mr. Kyle said the café is designed to serve as a gathering space for both neighborhood residents and office tenants.
The new location will feature PRESS Coffee’s modern-industrial design aesthetic, including wood finishes, seating areas and laptop-friendly workspaces.
Since opening its first café in 2008, PRESS Coffee has expanded to 20 existing locations throughout Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix, Gilbert and Chandler, including seven locations inside Sprouts Farmers Market stores. The company also recently opened a location at Sprouts’ north Phoenix headquarters.
PRESS Coffee sources coffee beans from growing regions around the world, including its own farm in Panama’s Volcan Valley. The company roasts its coffee daily at its Phoenix facility.
