Yates Buick GMC has been named a 2025 Buick Dealer of the Year, an award recognizing dealerships for performance, customer service, brand representation and operational achievement.
The recognition marks another Buick Dealer of the Year honor for the Goodyear dealership and highlights its performance across multiple areas of the business, according to a press release.
“Being named a 2025 Buick Dealer of the Year is an incredible honor for our entire team,” Whitney Yates-Woods, president of Yates Buick GMC, said. “This recognition reflects our team’s hard work, our commitment to customer service, and the trust our community continues to place in us.”
The Buick Dealer of the Year award evaluates dealerships on criteria including sales performance, customer satisfaction, brand standards, market participation and overall achievement.
Yates Buick GMC traces its roots to 1984, when Mike Yates founded the family’s automotive business. Following his passing, Ms. Yates-Woods assumed the role of dealer principal and has overseen the dealership’s continued growth and modernization while maintaining the family-focused approach established by her father.
The dealership cited several areas that contributed to the recognition, including customer service, adherence to Buick brand standards, employee engagement, community involvement and ongoing investments in its operations.
“This recognition means a lot because it reflects the legacy we’re building on,” Ms. Yates-Woods said. “My dad built this business with a long-term vision, and I want to keep honoring that foundation while continuing to grow with this community. As we expand in Goodyear, we want customers to feel that same care, consistency, and connection wherever they work with us.”
The company’s recent expansion includes Yates Mitsubishi in Goodyear, a full-service dealership at 13725 W. Test Drive. The dealership opened April 1 and employs approximately 30 team members across sales, service, parts and operations.
Yates Buick GMC officials said the dealership remains focused on customer service and community engagement as it continues to serve drivers in Arizona.
