Chandler Fashion Center will add Arizona’s first Wagyu House restaurant as part of a broader redevelopment effort that also includes new retail and dining tenants.
The restaurant is expected to open in fall 2027 in the center’s dining and entertainment district, according to a press release.
Macerich, which owns and operates the center, said the redevelopment is attracting additional retailers and restaurants planned to open over the next year.
Wagyu House specializes in all-you-can-eat yakiniku and offers beef selections including American, Australian and Japanese Wagyu. Each location is designed to reflect local character while maintaining a consistent brand experience.
“Every visit is more than a meal — it’s a journey that awakens sight, scent, sound and taste,” Harby Yang, CEO of Wagyu House, said. “We’re eager to introduce this immersive experience to the Arizona market and welcome guests from Chandler and beyond to discover a dining destination where every bite tells a story, and every moment is crafted to be unforgettable.”
Additional retailers are scheduled to open at the shopping center in the coming months.
J.Crew Factory opened May 14. Swarovski is expected to open in June. GARAGE plans to open later this summer. A Levi’s store is expected to open in early 2027.
“For nearly 25 years, Chandler Fashion Center has served as the Southeast Valley’s go-to retail destination,” Monica Greenman, general manager of Chandler Fashion Center, said. “We love bringing in first-to-market restaurants and sought-after retailers, giving our community their favorite brands close to home while introducing new ones they’ll be excited to discover.”
The center is also expanding its food offerings this summer, including new locations of Johnny Rockets, Sip Fresh and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.
Additional leasing activity is underway at the nearby Boulevard Shops at Chandler Fashion Center. Recent and upcoming tenants include TRND Setters barber shop, Chi Cha San Chen and Cleopatra Ink.
“As the East Valley continues to expand, shoppers have more options than ever, but Chandler Fashion Center remains the preeminent shopping center for the region,” Kim Choukalas, senior vice president of leasing for Macerich, said. “This redevelopment initiative recognizes shoppers’ growing interest in destinations where they can engage in well-rounded entertainment experiences, from shopping to dining and beyond. The leasing progress thus far reflects Macerich’s dedication to delivering on that promise.”
