TruWest Credit Union has launched a new tool through its partnership with SavvyMoney, a comprehensive credit score program that allows customers to monitor, improve and be in control of their credit.

The platform provides an in-depth analysis and report of credit scores with free ongoing access, an understanding of key factors that impact credit, and recommendations on how to improve scores, according to a press release.

The digital application also features personalized, money-saving offers based upon the credit score that can assist in reducing interest costs, the release states.

“We continually aim to provide our members with advanced tools and technology to improve their financial understanding,” said Jennifer Kimmell, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at TruWest Credit Union, in the release. “The new SavvyMoney tool is easy to use and offers a robust amount of information and data that users will benefit from.”

Members can see their updated credit score every 24 hours in online banking or on the TruWest Credit Union app. Additionally, a credit score simulator projects how changes in finances may affect overall scores by such actions like obtaining new credit or paying down existing loans, representatives of TruWest say.

SavvyMoney is a free service to members, and no credit card information is required to register. There are no extra apps to install or additional tools to learn — it is all presented simply within TruWest online banking system or on the TruWest mobile app.
