Terracon, a consulting engineering firm specializing in environmental, facilities, geotechnical and materials services, has announced the promotion of Sean Aubry from senior associate to principal.
Mr. Aubry serves as the materials department manager in the Tucson office, where he has provided leadership, technical expertise and client service.
The promotion comes as Mr. Aubry recently celebrated his 30th anniversary with Terracon, marking three decades of dedication to advancing the firm’s mission and strengthening its presence in southern Arizona, according to a press release.
Throughout his career, Mr. Aubry has guided the materials department, mentored staff and delivered solutions to clients across a wide range of projects. His promotion to principal reflects his technical expertise and commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
“Sean’s leadership and long-standing contributions have been vital to the success of our Tucson office and the clients we serve. His continued leadership will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our Casa Grande Materials Testing Lab, slated to open in 2026,” Derek Koller, CIH, CHMM, Tucson operations manager, said.
“We are confident that his expertise will drive its success from day one and look forward to his continued impact as principal.”
Mr. Aubry will continue to oversee the materials department while expanding his role in strategic planning, client engagement and community involvement.
Away from the office, Mr. Aubry enjoys spending time with his family, camping and playing racquetball.
