Shapiro Law Team announced the addition of Victor Nino and Scott Tillinghast to its team of attorneys focused on personal injury cases.
Mr. Nino attended Brophy College Preparatory before earning his undergraduate degree from Colgate University in New York. He also earned Wilderness
First Responder certification through Wilderness Medical Associates and NOLS. His commitment to safety and leadership in the outdoors reflects the focus he brings to his legal practice, according to a press release.
After graduating from Colgate in 2021, Mr. Nino returned to Arizona and joined Shapiro Law Team’s Settlement Department, gaining experience in all stages of a personal injury case. He earned his law degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law in Illinois and worked for a personal injury firm in Chicago before returning to Arizona.
“I am honored to be joining the Shapiro Law Team and fighting for the community that I was born and raised in,” said Mr. Nino. “This is the most reputable firm in the Valley, and I am sure with our combined skills, no resident will be left unserved.”
Mr. Nino said his goal is to provide compassionate, results-driven advocacy for clients.
Mr. Tillinghast earned his law degree at ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where he received a Law and Sustainability certificate and served as executive note and comment editor for the Corporate and Business Law Journal. He also taught seventh grade social studies at Paradise Valley Unified School District from 2018 to 2022, an experience that informs his approach to client communication.
Mr. Tillinghast represents individuals and families in motor-vehicle collisions, wrongful death, premises liability and other negligence cases. Days after being sworn into the Arizona Bar in October 2025, he served as co-counsel on a $5 million verdict for a client struck head-on by a drunk driver.
“Being a part of Shapiro Law Team is an honor,” said Mr. Tillinghast. “The experience and knowledge they will share with me will not only prepare me for my career but also help expand my services to Valley residents.”
Mr. Tillinghast said he chose the firm for its trial-ready culture and commitment to preparation and clarity.
“We are thrilled to welcome Victor and Scott to our team,” said David Shapiro, CEO and founder of Shapiro Law Team. “We are confident that these new lawyers understand the needs of our Valley residents. Their fresh ambition is exactly what we need to help our clients feel supported and get the justice they deserve.”
Shapiro Law Team represents clients in motor vehicle accidents, product liability and other personal injury cases.
