One Handsome Bastard, Old Town Scottsdale’s first and only micro-distillery, has announced its partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Give for More Life initiative.
As part of the collaboration, 10% of proceeds from every bottle of One Handsome Bastard Vodka will benefit LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers and improve the lives of patients and their families, according to a press release.
The announcement coincides with a major milestone for the local, family-owned brand: the launch of One Handsome Bastard vodka at Safeway, located at 32551 N. Scottsdale Road, the release states.
“This partnership with LLS is deeply meaningful to our family,” said founders Trish and Bren Ritchie in a joint statement.
“We’re proud to support an organization that brings hope and healing to so many, and we’re equally grateful to the Scottsdale community for helping us reach this milestone. Launching at Safeway is a celebration of how far we’ve come, and a chance to give back in the same spirit that built us.”
Founded by a mother-daughter duo in tribute to their late husband and father, One Handsome Bastard is known for its premium, small-batch gin and vodka, hand-distilled in partnership with Blue Clover Spirits.
The distillery is at 7042 E. Indian School Road in Old Town Scottsdale.
