The Scottsdale Charros — through its philanthropic arm, The Charro Foundation — is now accepting applications for its annual funding cycle where dollars are provided to qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit efforts.
The Charro Foundation supports a variety of charitable organizations that make meaningful impacts throughout the Scottsdale community to those in need, those afflicted with a debilitating diagnosis, and providing equitable access to quality public education.
The No. 1 recipient of the sweat equity provided by the Scottsdale Charros is the Scottsdale Unified School District and its educators, students and administrators.
Charro Foundation grant dollars are to be used exclusively for the program listed in the funding application. Grants are generally between $2,500 and $25,000. All applications must have a Charros sponsor, according to a press release.
