Red, White & Brew’s Mesa and Prescott locations raised a combined $2,067 in May through their “Dine & Donate” partnership with M.I.K.I.D. (Mentally Ill Kids in Distress), a local nonprofit supporting youth mental health statewide.

Throughout Mental Health Awareness Month, guests contributed by ordering the fan-favorite Lemon Basil Chicken pasta and pints of Church Music IPA, according to a press release.

For every entrée sold, Red, White & Brew donated two dollars, and for each pint poured, one dollar was given directly to M.I.K.I.D.’s programs, the release states.

“We were truly moved by how our customers showed up,” said Paul LaMarca, general manager of Red, White & Brew in Mesa. “It’s clear that people care deeply about kids’ mental health, and we’re proud to help channel that support to an organization doing important work.”

M.I.K.I.D. offers family-centered behavioral health services to youth across Arizona, including peer support, skill building, and guidance for navigating the mental health system. The funds raised in May will directly support those efforts, including the nonprofit’s upcoming fall benefit concert.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Red, White & Brew and every guest who dined with purpose during Mental Health Awareness Month,” said M.I.K.I.D. CEO Jeff Kazmierczak. “Their generous support and the incredible participation from the community help M.I.K.I.D. continue to provide its vital services to Arizona children and families navigating mental health challenges.”

Red, White & Brew first opened its doors in East Mesa in 2002 and expanded to Prescott in 2021.

“To be able to enjoy a great meal and make a difference, it’s a win all around,” said Jimmy Herrera, operating partner of Red, White & Brew. “We’re grateful to our guests for rallying behind this cause and to M.I.K.I.D. for all they do.”
