Phoenix & Scottsdale eateries ready Reposados, Blancos and Anejos for National Tequila Day

Beloved eateries, restaurants and watering holes across the Valley of the Sun are celebrating National Tequila Day Sunday, July 24, with a collection of craft margaritas you can’t get anywhere else.

Raise your glass this Sunday to celebrate National Tequila Day with delicious tequila-infused cocktails from an array of local spots across the Phoenix metropolitan area:

Z’Tejas Southwest Grill
To celebrate National Tequila Day, take off and grab a flight! Z’Tejas Southwest Grill offers three unique tequila flights. The Centenario Flight, which includes a Blanco, Reposado & Añejo from Gran Centenario ($15).

The Three Amigos Flight which includes three Reposados from Milagro, Maestro Dobel & Herradura ($25), and the Extra Añejo Flight which includes three Extra Añejos from 1800 Milenio, Dobel 50 & The Leyenda ($70). Z’Tejas also serves up a variety of margaritas including its famous Chambord Margarita, Jalapeno Cucumber and Hard Day margarita.

In honor of National Tequila Day, Z’Tejas Southwest Grill is offering 50% off on any of its three tequila flights on Sunday, July 24.

Humble Bistro
Margarita lovers will enjoy the “Not So Humble Margarita,” which features Casamigos Blanco, fresh-squeezed lime and orange to order and a touch of organic Tres Agave in a Tajin half-rimmed tumbler. This skinny margarita is available at the Phoenix location and the new Gilbert location on Val Vista and Williams Field Road.

Jalapeño Inferno
Come visit Jalapeño Inferno on July 24 and enjoy its “Margarita of the Month” for just $6. Jalapeño Inferno, a local Sonoran-Mexican restaurant with three locations and a ghost kitchen, is known for its extensive selection of tequila that pair perfectly with every meal. Whether you are looking for a shot of tequila or a delicious margarita that is frozen, spicy, berry-based or on-the-rocks, Jalapeño’s has it all.

Recreo

Recreo will be serving $7 margaritas, frozaritas and palomas for National Tequila Day! Recreo, which translates to “Recess,” is a playground-themed restaurant and bar in the historic downtown Chandler, 28 S. San Marcos Place, this concept features live outdoor entertainment, an edible garden, specialty cocktails and delicious comfort food with an unfamiliar spin. Recreo has a fun scenery with a bus art installation, a bar swing set, shipping container stage suspended in the back patio of the restaurant and twinkle lights.

SugarJam, The Southern Kitchen
Visit SugarJam The Southern Kitchen for a delicious Southern brunch and fun tequila-based cocktails, including its “Spike N’ Fruity Ice Tea” with and its “Strawberry-Margarita Mimosa.” SugarJam The Southern Kitchen is a local restaurant in North Scottsdale that serves Southern-based brunch, baked goods and craft cocktails.

Tequila Corrido
Tequila Corrido, a local tequila company that recently launched in the Valley, pays homage to tequila-making traditions and the stories behind its evolution. Tequila Corrido is barrel-aged in its Guadalajara distillery and is available in three expressions: blanco, reposado and añejo. The locally owned company is available at more than 100 locations throughout Arizona. To celebrate National Tequila Day, Tequila Corrido is issuing a cocktail-making challenge. Beginning Wednesday, July 13, those who create their own unique, music themed tequila cocktail creations have a chance to win a staycation in Phoenix, gift cards and recognition.
