Participants of all ages take part in the Mesa Police Department Grand Prix, an annual community event that brings families, officers and local partners together for a day of friendly competition, public safety education and engagement. The racecourse featured human‑powered vehicles ranging from tricycles to go‑karts as Mesa police officers volunteered as course marshals, pit crews and cheerleaders along the sidelines.
