Three local restaurants participating in Arizona Chef’s Week may be a good fit for upcoming dining roundups.

CHoP Chandler, Elvira’s at DC Ranch and tomu-san sushi are each offering three-course menus for $55 per person, giving diners the opportunity to sample a range of cuisines, from steakhouse classics and regional Mexican dishes to contemporary Japanese fare.

A longtime East Valley destination for steak and seafood, CHoP Chandler is participating in Arizona Chef’s Week with a three-course menu priced at $55 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Diners can choose from starters including garlic herb-crusted seared tuna, Southwest egg rolls or lightly fried cauliflower.

Entrée options include slow-braised beef short rib served with carrot purée and mashed potatoes, blackened mahi-mahi with avocado cream sauce, or lemon basil chicken penne. Dessert features New York-style cheesecake topped with house-made caramelized peach compote.

Elvira’s at DC Ranch

Elvira’s at DC Ranch is showcasing its regional Mexican cuisine during Arizona Chef’s Week with a three-course menu priced at $55 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.

Menu options include Veracruz-style seafood stew, squash blossom quesadillas, sweet plantain empanadas filled with picadillo, pollo con mole rojo, pan-seared salmon with plum sauce, and marinated lamb chops with poblano cream sauce. Dessert consists of mini cinnamon sugar doughnuts served with three dipping sauces.

The restaurant draws on decades of family culinary traditions while offering contemporary interpretations of Mexican cuisine.

tomu-san Sushi
For diners seeking a Japanese dining experience during Arizona Chef’s Week, tomu-san sushi in DC Ranch is offering a three-course menu for $55 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.
Selections include hamachi crudo with peach vinaigrette, pork belly bao buns, chef-selected sushi rolls, grilled salmon, seared scallops with chilled soba noodles, and grilled ribeye served with fried rice and bok choy. The meal concludes with black sesame crème brûlée.
