Compass is expanding its presence in northern Arizona with the addition of longtime Arizona real estate professional Shane Randall, formerly of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty, as the brokerage continues growing in the Flagstaff market.
Mr. Randall joins Compass as demand for luxury homes, second homes and retirement properties continues in northern Arizona. He will work alongside Compass Arizona Sales and Growth Manager Patrick Clark on the company’s expansion efforts. Marie-France Dagenais and Kristina Henson have also joined the team, while Compass agents Keegan Olson and Chad Dragos will continue serving clients throughout the region.
The expansion comes as Flagstaff’s housing market continues to attract buyers from metro Phoenix, Southern California and other Western states, driven by limited inventory, outdoor recreation opportunities and the area’s cooler climate, according to a press release.
“Flagstaff has its own identity and energy,” Mr. Randall said. “You’ve got luxury buyers, retirement-home demand, university influence and very limited inventory all operating inside one market. There’s a lot happening here right now, and we see significant opportunity in northern Arizona.”
Mr. Randall moved to Arizona from Chicago in 2002 and has worked in business, advertising and internet marketing. He is known for his work in Scottsdale golf and resort communities as well as Flagstaff luxury-home markets, including Forest Highlands and Flagstaff Ranch.
Compass Arizona President Stephanie Gonzalez said the company has been building its presence in Arizona’s luxury and lifestyle housing markets and views Flagstaff as a strategic area for growth.
“Flagstaff continues to attract attention because there’s really nowhere else in Arizona like it,” Ms. Gonzalez said. “This is an area that draws buyers seeking easy access to outdoor recreation. Ms. Gonzalez said Compass plans to continue its community involvement efforts in northern Arizona through partnerships with local schools and nonprofit organizations.
“Our agents are heavily involved with the schools and nonprofits in each area we serve,” Ms. Gonzalez said. “We’ll bring that same approach to our Flagstaff office by building relationships with local partners and supporting the people and organizations that matter to residents and families.”
Ms. Dagenais brings more than 17 years of luxury real estate experience and holds real estate licenses in Arizona and Florida. Her background includes residential design, relocation services and home staging.
