Desert Ridge Marketplace will add four new dining and beverage concepts over the next 12 months, expanding food and drink options at the North Phoenix shopping and entertainment destination.

The additions include Nadu, Kajiken Ramen, Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse and Globe in the Dark, a cocktail lounge. The new venues will open in phases through summer 2026 and offer a range of global cuisines and dining experiences, according to a press release.

Nadu, formerly Feringhee Modern Indian Cuisine, highlights regional Indian flavors and is led by Chef Sujan Sarkar. The restaurant, which was included in the 2025 Michelin Guide, is expected to open in February 2026 in a 4,024-square-foot space. The concept blends traditional Indian spices with locally sourced ingredients in a contemporary setting.

Kajiken, which originated in Nagoya, Japan, specializes in abura soba, a soup-less ramen dish made with thick noodles and a signature sauce. The restaurant will occupy a 1,720-square-foot space and is expected to open before the end of the year. The menu also includes a variety of customizable toppings and additional Japanese dishes.

Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse is scheduled to open in summer 2026 in a 7,669-square-foot space. The restaurant will offer a churrasco-style dining experience featuring fire-roasted meats carved tableside, along with a hot and cold table that includes vegetables, cured meats, cheeses and traditional side dishes.

Globe in the Dark, an 800-square-foot cocktail lounge expected to open in early 2026, will feature internationally inspired drinks and small plates. The concept includes a passport-style loyalty program and themed happy hour offerings.

“We’re thrilled to bring a world of flavors to Desert Ridge Marketplace,” said Jenny Cushing, vice president of leasing at Vestar. “These new additions bring fresh energy and unique offerings, further enhancing our vision of creating a dynamic, experience-driven destination for shoppers and visitors.”

Ms. Cushing said the additions are intended to broaden the range of dining options available at the property.

The new concepts will join existing restaurants at Desert Ridge Marketplace, including Dave & Buster’s, Marino’s Italian Kitchen & Bar, Backyard, Barrio Queen, Kona Grill, Jin Jia, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and Yard House.
