Huse Culinary, an Indianapolis-based restaurant and retail food group, announces its first location outside of Indiana with the opening of Harry & Izzy’s at the reimagined PV, formerly Paradise Valley Mall.
With an approachable spin on the classic steakhouse, the upscale American grill concept is expected to begin construction within the next few months and open in early 2026, representatives of Huse Culinary tell the Digital Free Press.
The from-the-ground up new construction will be an 8,300-square-foot restaurant with a 2,400-square-foot patio, an outside bar, and a seating capacity of 340. Serving an elevated take on classic dishes, the menu will include premium steaks aged to perfection and the world-famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail, alongside various fresh seafood dishes, shareable appetizers, and expertly crafted cocktails, according to a press release.
“Expanding to Phoenix isn’t just about opening a new restaurant – it’s about bringing our legacy of hospitality and unforgettable dining experiences to this vibrant community,” said Craig Huse, CEO of Huse Culinary. “Harry & Izzy’s represents tradition, quality, and connection, and we’re excited to introduce Arizona to what has made our concept so beloved in the Midwest.”
The name Harry & Izzy’s pays homage to two best friends, Harry Roth and Izzy Rosen, who successfully owned and operated the iconic St. Elmo Steak House from 1947 to 1986, when the Huse family began their stewardship of the restaurant that opened in 1902.
Huse Culinary has since expanded to eight restaurants across four brands, including 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo and The HC Tavern + Kitchen.
