PRESS Coffee, on Friday, Feb. 21, is brewing up financial support for Phoenix Children’s by donating 100% of the day’s profits across all 19 locations.

Since the 2018 founding of PressOn Charities, the roaster’s charitable giving entity, the PRESS Coffee Day of Giving annually uplifts the community through strategic partnerships and community fundraising, according to a press release.

The company–with locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Tempe and Chandler–has set this year’s fundraising goal at $20,000, the release states.

“Our annual Day of Giving is an excellent opportunity for Arizonans to easily contribute towards the life-saving services and medical research being facilitated by Phoenix Children’s, and PRESS is honored to once again partner with this incredible organization,” said Jason Kyle, co-owner of PRESS Coffee.

This year, the donation will be used by Phoenix Children’s to support the hospital’s Hope Fund, a critical source of funding for Phoenix Children’s areas of greatest need.

“We’re thankful for PRESS Coffee’s generous support again this year,” said Tim Harrison, vice president of corporate development and special events at Phoenix Children’s. “As an Arizona business they understand the importance of being part of the local communities and their continued commitment to Phoenix Children’s helps us provide exceptional care to our young patients and supports our ongoing commitment to protect the health and safety of children in our community.”

In 2018, PRESS Coffee founded PressOn Charities, an entity of PRESS, which prioritizes community involvement. As of last February, PRESS Coffee has raised over $200,000 through PressOnCharities for local 501 (c)(3) nonprofit charities throughout Arizona.
