Steve Lindley has been appointed chief operating officer of Holualoa Companies, as previous COO Stanton Shafer transitions to a senior advisor role as a step toward retirement.
Mr. Lindley will be engaged in all facets of the company’s operations, including the management of the portfolio of national and international properties and working with company leadership in sourcing and capitalizing acquisitions and development. Mr. Lindley is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, according to a press release.
He most recently served as executive managing director in the capital markets group for Cushman & Wakefield, advising sophisticated national and regional investor clients in the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of office, industrial and mixed-use properties.
“Steve’s decades of experience and deep commitment to industry leadership will be a tremendous asset to our company as he oversees management of our portfolio of properties spanning the United States and Europe.” said Rick Kauffman, CEO at Holualoa Companies. “His background and character are ideal to enhance Holualoa’s culture of discipline, creativity, patience and attention to detail that has produced superior results for our investors for almost 40 years.”
Mr. Lindley will be replacing Shafer, who will be remaining with Holualoa as Senior Advisor as a step toward retirement after over 45 years in the real estate industry, 13 of which were in his role as Chief Operating Officer for Holualoa.
“I am excited to join the talented, creative and experienced Holualoa team as we collaborate for continued growth and success,” Mr. Lindley said. “Holualoa’s commitment to successful investments and developments that enhance the communities where they are located aligns perfectly with my background, interests and industry leadership.”
