Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino presented a $14,235.77 donation to the Veterans In Need Project through guest contributions collected at Caesars Makes Change NRT kiosks.
The Caesars Makes Change program allows guests to donate spare change — up to 99 cents — when cashing out slot machine vouchers. The funds will support the Veterans In Need Project’s efforts to provide assistance and resources to veterans facing financial hardship and other challenges, according to a press release.
The donation will help the organization continue serving veterans throughout the community.
“Our guests continue to show that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting difference,” Barbara Achten, HERO Committee chair at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, said.
“We’re honored to support the Veterans In Need Project and its mission to help veterans through challenging times. Seeing our guests rally behind this cause is truly inspiring, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact together.”
