Scottsdale names Tiffany Passehl Old Town specialist to support business and community collaboration

Scottsdale has hired Tiffany Passehl as the city’s Old Town specialist, a new position in the Tourism and Events division focused on supporting businesses, events and community engagement in Old Town Scottsdale.

Ms. Passehl joins the city after serving as a project manager, where she oversaw more than 350 projects across various initiatives and worked with internal teams, consultants and public agencies to coordinate complex efforts, according to a press release.

In her new role, Ms. Passehl will serve as a liaison between the city and Old Town businesses, residents and stakeholders while helping coordinate community outreach, special events and initiatives that support Old Town as a destination.

“This new position reflects our continued investment in Old Town as a vibrant economic and cultural hub for our community,” Deputy City Manager Judy Doyle said. “Tiffany brings strong organizational skills, proven project leadership and a collaborative approach that will help strengthen partnerships with our merchants, event organizers and residents. We are excited to see the positive impact she will make in supporting the experiences that define Old Town.”

Originally from Wyoming, Ms. Passehl brings experience in communications and project coordination. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Wyoming.

“I am thrilled to support and elevate the incredible events and experiences that make Old Town Scottsdale such a vibrant destination,” Ms. Passehl said. “I look forward to working closely with our businesses, partners and city teams to help create welcoming, memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.”

The Old Town specialist position was created to provide on‑the‑ground coordination and support for downtown businesses and tourism activity while strengthening communication and collaboration across city departments and the Old Town community.
