Abrazo Health and local leaders celebrated the grand opening of the Abrazo Health Litchfield Medical Building on Jan. 28, marking the completion of the new facility next to Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear.
“We are committed to continuing to expand access to high quality care across the communities we serve,” Abrazo West CEO Hans Driessnack said. “The design and location of our new Abrazo Inpatient Rehab Facility will facilitate a seamless transition from the acute care hospital setting to the next step in the patient’s recovery journey.”
The medical building is the West Valley’s first purpose‑built combination of medical offices and an inpatient rehabilitation hospital within a single environment, according to a press release.
The new rehab facility is located in the Palm Valley Shopping Center at 1355 N. Litchfield Road, adjacent to the I‑10 freeway, improving accessibility for patients and families.
“This project reflects what’s possible when strong partners come together with a shared purpose,” Goodyear Vice Mayor Brannon Hampton said.
“The collaboration between Abrazo Health, PMB, and the City of Goodyear has resulted in a facility that not only advances patient‑centered care but also supports high‑quality jobs and continued healthcare investment in the West Valley.”
The facility will offer rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, neurologic disorders, cardiac conditions, traumatic injuries and other medical needs.
“This place represents what’s possible when committed partners come together around a shared vision for better healthcare,” Jake Dinnen, executive vice president of development and partner at PMB, said.
“Built specifically to meet the needs of the West Valley of Phoenix, it is more than a building—it is a place of healing, recovery, and hope. By combining outpatient care and inpatient rehabilitation in a purpose‑built environment, we are delivering an innovative building that puts patients and families first.”
