From now through Friday, Aug. 29, the team of more than 900 advisors at Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty is hosting their annual Summer Back-to-School Drive, benefiting The Foster Alliance, which is the largest non-profit provider of essential services for children in foster care in Arizona.
Each of the Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty offices have an Amazon Wish List where Valley residents can shop for school supplies and have them sent directly to The Foster Alliance.
Online monetary donations are also accepted, and each office will do the shopping on each donor’s behalf.
“This is one of our favorite times of the year, as we love to know that these children will be walking into their classrooms feeling confident, prepared and valued,” said Stephanie Stewart, Russ Lyon Foundation president, in a prepared statement.
Items being collected during the Summer Back-to-School Drive include backpacks, paper, pens and pencils, lunchboxes, markers, calculators, notebooks, folders and other school essentials.
