HonorHealth is announcing that Mountain Vista Medical Center will be renamed HonorHealth Four Peaks Medical Center.
The name change marks a new chapter for the 178-bed hospital, which opened in 2007 and was acquired by HonorHealth in October 2024, according to a press release.
The facility offers a range of medical services, including Level III trauma care, primary stroke treatment, robotic-assisted surgeries, orthopedics, cardiology, labor and delivery, and behavioral health.
“Renaming Mountain Vista to HonorHealth Four Peaks Medical Center represents more than a new sign on the building,” said Todd LaPorte, CEO of HonorHealth. “It symbolizes a renewal; it’s our commitment to blending nationally recognized clinical expertise with the warmth and trust people expect from their community hospital. As the East Valley continues to grow, this medical center will grow right alongside it—ensuring that families here have access to expert care close to home,” Mr. LaPorte said.
As part of HonorHealth’s integrated network, Four Peaks Medical Center will build on Mountain Vista’s legacy while aligning with the system’s mission to improve health and well-being. The hospital is recognized as a Level III Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Cardiac Receiving Center, with accreditations including Stroke Gold Plus and Chest Pain Center designation.
“While our name is changing, our commitment to the community is stronger than ever,” said Preston Allred, hospital administrator at HonorHealth Four Peaks Medical Center. “We’re proud to be a trusted resource for East Valley families—whether that’s welcoming a new life in our birthing center, providing advanced emergency and cardiac services, or behavioral health support for seniors, we’re here for every stage of life.”
