Jan Dubauskas, candidate for Scottsdale City Council, has picked up the endorsements of Scottsdale City Councilwoman Kathy Littlefield and Councilman Barry Graham.

The endorsements were first announced at an event for Ms. Dubauskas on March 21, campaign officials tell the Digital Free Press.

Councilwoman Littlefield says she believes Ms. Dubauskas will put residents first if elected to City Council.

“[I am] confident that Jan will join me on the Council as a clear voice for the residents of Scottsdale. She has a track record of engaging in Scottsdale as a citizen and amplifying the concerns of the community,” she said in a prepared statement. “As a councilmember, I believe Jan will continue to put the welfare of our citizens first and work to keep Scottsdale the beautiful city we all love. I am proud to endorse Jan Dubauskas.”

Councilman Graham says he is proud to endorse Ms. Dubauskas.

“Jan has a proven record of service to Scottsdale and will be a strong fiscal conservative for taxpayers,” he said. “To protect Scottsdale’s unique character and quality of life, we must elect another councilmember who will stand-up for residents and oppose ideas that don’t make sense for our city.”

Ms. Dubauskas says she is humbled to received the endorsements of two sitting members of Scottsdale City Council.

“It is a true honor to have the endorsements of these outstanding members of our council,” she said. “Councilwoman Littlefield and Councilman Graham listen to the voice of residents. They have offered strong and much needed opposition to overdevelopment, road diets, and other proposals that don’t serve Scottsdale’s best interests. I am grateful for their trust and confidence; and look forward to serving with them on council.”
